ITINERARY

07:00 am

Pick up from hotel and transfer to Lampa, located 75 Km northwest of Puno, known as the “Pink City” which retains its colonial structure.
The church  ”St. James” has an exact replica of the Pietà by Michelangelo. In this village we also find the only and most beautiful colonial bridge made of Calicanto. Then we go to the village of Pukara and visit the oldest archaeological site in the area called Calasaya ceremonial center where their met anthropomorphic lithic sculptures are preserved in the museum. It has a temple called Santa Isabel that is built in pink granite. Today the town produces original ceramic crafts highlighting the Toritos.

12:00 pm

We lunch in the famous cancacho (roast lamb) in the village ofAyaviri and visit the San Francisco de Asis church in baroque style which has an altar

carved in wood and gilded in gold leaf. Then we visit the Tinajani  Canyon where we see the incredible formations Tinajani Valley that seem to be made by human hands in clay and sandstone rock  and gives the impression of an enchanted town and a center of high energy positive mysticism.

We return to Puno, arriving at your hotel at about 19:00.
