ITINERARY

07:00 am

Pick up from your hotel , transfer to Chucuito visiting INKAUYO, or Temple of Fertility.  Arrive in Juli which is 80 km from Puno and is called ” Little Rome of America ” visiting the temples of San Pedro, San Juan de Letran, Santa Cruz and Our Lady of the Asunción, built by the Dominicans and Jesuits, who turned Juli in the center of evangelization of the whole region of the plateau .

We will have the opportunity to see the wonderful paintings of the Cuzco School which are silent witnesses of the greatness of this people.

Typical lunch. Then we arrive to Pomata, also called “Philosophical Balcony of the Highlands”  and we visit  its main attraction, the majestic colonial church of St. James the Apostle, considered one of the most beautiful in South America where we will also have the opportunity to see the paintings of Cuzco school. Pomata has been able to maintain its provincial  character.

We return to Puno, arriving at your hotel at approximately 17:00 pm
