ITINERARY

FIRST DAY: City Tour

Airport pickup and transfer to your hotel. In the morning will not be any activity in order to acclimatize to the considerable altitude of Cusco (3.412 metres over sea level). A 1330 pickup from your hotel to take a tour of the city (the Cathedral, Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun) and the Inca ruins in the surrounding area (Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay).
When the tour is finished, we return to the hotel at 18.00. 19:00 A spectacle of traditional dances at the Centro de Arte Nativo Qosqo.

SECOND DAY: Tour MACHUPICCHU

Pick up from your hotel. Departure by train to the San Pedro station in Cusco, heading to the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu. Arriving in Aguas Calientes in about 4 hours. From there we will take the bus to make the ascent, 20 min. to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Guided tour of Machu Picchu for 2 ½ hours – approx 3.
Return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where we lunch at a tourist restaurant, then take the train back to Cusco. Transfer to your hotel.

THIRD DAY: Departure from Cusco

Transfer Hotel – Airport.

BACKPACKER or VISITANDOME train?

Backpacker service is good, you can buy snacks or drinks with extra charge. Visitandome train has comfortable seating, larger side windows and roof windows to appreciate the scenery of the mountains. The service includes a snack with a hot drink
