ITINERARY

FIRST DAY

Hotel Departure: 08:30 hrs. from the city of Arequipa. We head for the paved road towards Yura across Pampa and Pampa de Arrieros Cañahuas, noticing the inconsistent vicunas, llamas, alpacas, and migratory birds, and then get to where we enjoyed a Viscachani Coca mate, to acclimatize the body by height. Continuing with the tour enjoying the lagoons and wetlands and watch as some migratory flamingo, ibis. Arriving after the highest point of the journey Patapampa (4.820 meters), highest point of the trail, also called “Mirador de los Andes”, the point where you can see the volcanoes of the Valley, and then descend to the village of Chivay (3600msnm). Lunch and accommodation at the hotel.
In the evening (optional) visit to the Baths of Calera, where we remained for a period of about two hours. These baths are thermo-medicinal waters, and have a temperature of about  about 40 degrees, good for body diseases.
At night, enjoy dinner accompanied by a Folk band.

SECOND DAY

In the morning around 5:30. Breakfast at the hotel and then leave due to the Cruz del Condor where they remained for a period of 2 hours approx. Where it can be seen in its larger depth of Colca Canyon and also the flight of the Condor at close range.
Return observe archaeological remains, pre-Inca agricultural terraces and panoramic views of the Colca Canyon, visiting the towns of Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma, Yanque, where you can observe typical churches, craft centers, the typical clothing among others.
Arriving in Chivay and lunch.
Departure to Arequipa. We arrive at the city of Arequipa 17:30.
